Supernanny Drinking Game

As Supernanny is now a highly successful show in the US as well as in the UK there are two versions of this game. Pick whether you’re staying in Blighty or going transatlantic with Jo Jo, crack open the drinks, switch on the TV and let the game begin!

American Supernanny

Take a sip of your drink:
  • When Jo Frost first roles up in her pimping black cab complete with 'Sprnanny' registration.
  • Mom is skinny, has perfect hair and is in full make-up while dad has been unfairly battered by the fugly stick.
  • The family live in a three-storey mansion with swimming pool and Jacuzzi.
  • Every time a monochrome screen appears and a scene which the audience watched two minutes ago is pointlessly repeated, just in case any viewers are prone to short-term memory loss.
  • Ominous music is played whenever a dramatic incident occurs, e.g. one of the kids drops a crayon and forgets to pick it up.
  • Jo mugs at the camera to show her displeasure.

British Supernanny

Take a sip of your drink:
  • If it’s a single parent family or there is obvious marital discord.
  • Whenever the kids are sadistically violent. If Jo Frost did not perform an intervention it would only be a matter of time before the little scrotes received ASBOs.
  • Anyone in the family swears or spits; this includes parental figures.

These drinking rules apply to both versions of the show.

Take a sip when Jo:
  • Wears the blue shirt.
  • Sits mum and dad down for a talk and the only positive thing she can say is, “You have beautiful children,” before going into smack down mode of why they are complete failures as parents and how their kids are obnoxious as hell.
  • Wears the purple shirt.
  • Enforces the ‘roaming technique’.
  • Says, “This is unacceptable behaviour”.
  • Makes a member of the family she’s visiting cry.

Down a shot:
  • Jo is bound to bring up the naughty step/stair/corner/mat/room but if it is utilized more than three times in a programme it’s worth a shot.
  • The mum falls half in love with Supernanny. Evidence of this includes; whenever the mum hugs Jo for a little longer than is strictly necessary, discloses her hopes and fears to a woman she’s known for less than a week and has a small nervous breakdown when it’s time for Jo Jo to leave.
